The Sauber F1 Team sent its drivers on a four day training camp in the Swiss canton of Glarus for a pre-season workout. Kamui Kobayashi, Sergio Pérez and reserver driver Esteban Gutièrrez underwent various tests to determine their levels of endurance, strength and coordination.

Activities included cross-country skiing and climbing, shooting and in the evening, bowling. Pérez was happy with his time at the camp, noting "I enjoyed every exercise with my favourites being climbing in a frozen waterfall, followed by cross country skiing. To me it was also very important and a really nice experience to spend time with my new team mates and build up relationships with them."

Training was designed to improve driver reaction times, concentration and teamwork in order to ensure peek fitness for the 2011 season.
