Jérôme D'Ambrosio realises his dream of making the Aus Grand Prix

Jérôme D'Ambrosio narrowly scraped through the 107% cutoff limit of qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix, allowing himself his first chance to race in Formula One. The young Belgian has admitted he has dreamed of being on the grid for the last 10 or 15 years, and every time he watches the race on TV, he wants to be there.
In 2011, he got his chance, although he started and finished the race last. Nevertheless, nothing will get D'Ambrosio down and he remains positive about what he achieved: "I started really well and I felt comfortable in the car, even though I think that I could have gone a bit faster at the end of the race. But the most important thing is that we completed the race and this will give me plenty of experience which will be useful for the next races."
