Almost immediately after the race, news emerged that Steve Neilsen, sporting director of the team, has resigned. The team are investigating the efficiency of the organisation and may face restructure, and Neilsen's notice comes before any results have been found. It's not clear how long he will continue to work at Renault, although his contract is until the year's end.

John Wickham, who has previously been involved with the A1GP series, is linked to a role within the team.
